Today’s AI systems are difficult to understand. Not even their developers can reliably predict their behavior. Yet at the same time, AI is being developed, deployed, and adopted faster than any technology in recent history.
Transluce is an independent, nonprofit research lab dedicated to public oversight of these complex systems. Our team is developing the platforms, research, and tools necessary for understanding AI and steering its development in the public interest.
